EclipseIR™ selected as finalist in RootsTech 2014 Developer Challenge

Under the banner of its initiative "photofacematch.com," EclipseIR entered the Developer Challenge to demonstrate inovative solutions in the genealogy marketplace. The software appllication incorporated EclipseIR's facial recognition tehnology allowing geneaologists to compare photos of a known individual to a photo of an unkown individual. The results would show a likelihood that the individuals were the same person. This would be very useful in researching family photos. The project, which met with extremely positive response from users at the RootsTech exhibit, was selected as a finalist, and ulitmately recieved third place in the competition.
